How to Get To Faith Baptist Church

Faith Baptist Church is located in the mountains of northwestern North Carolina at the base of Grandfather Mountain in the town of Linville. Coming from Boone, which is about 17 miles to the north on Hwy 105, you would turn right on West Third Street (not shown on map but it's the road where the red push pin is located). This is about 100 yards or so before Linville's only red light on Hwy 105. You go across the top of the hill on West Third Street and you can see the church as it sits off the road at the bottom of the hill just in the sharp left turn.

If you come from the Newland direction on Hwy 181, you would travel about five miles until you get to the red light in Linville. Turn left at the red light and go about 100 yards on Hwy 105 until you get to West Third Street. You would turn left onto West Third Street coming this direction. Being in the mountains the climate is air conditioned by nature during the summer months, which makes this area a great place to visit for those who live off the mountain and are oppressed by the heat and humidity. In the wintertime those who like to get away for a skiing weekend will find several area ski slopes from which to choose near the church. Now, you can plan a ski weekend and still know there is a good fundamental church in the area to attend.
